Fill the cooling system using vacuum

Immediately after replacing the radiator or installing a heater in a car it can be difficult to refill the cooling system again without creating pockets of air. Therefore Kamasa Tools is launching a filler set for the cooling system, which makes the job easier thanks to compressed air feed.
On modern cars it is difficult to refill the cooling system again without creating air pockets. If there are air pockets the system will bleed this air by itself, but it takes a long time and it is expensive to let a mechanic keep an eye on this slow process.
Kamasa Tools has developed a complete kit for fast and easy filling of the cooling system as well as leak checks. With compressed air feed through the tool, first all air is drawn out, creating a vacuum. Thanks to the vacuum in the system it is easier to detect leaks and it is possible to effectively fill all the different spaces with coolant.
– It's a very effective product since it completely eliminates the risk of air pockets. And it also saves you time in the workshop, says product specialist Ola Gustafsson, from the Kamasa Tools department at KG Knutson AB.
The tool chassis is made of a composite material resistant to both impact and the cold, and the mechanical parts are all metal. Even the pressure gauge is provided with impact protection. The pressure gauge indicates the vacuum level and also shows if the system seals completely tight, already before filling any fluid.
The tool comes in a practical box with six adapters that fit most cooling systems.
