A complete tool set for efficient clutch replacement
2015 Kamasa Tools has created a new tool set for the assembly and disassembly of self-adjusting clutches, or SAC.
In comparison with other similar tools, the K 10635 immediately stands out – literally. Instead of two separate clamping plates for three or four attachments, the K 10635 has an extra arm, allowing it to work with all SACs regardless of whether the clutch is held together with six or eight screws.
"The tool set enables the clutch plate to be centered, even on vehicles without crankshaft guide bearings. Replacing a clutch without using an SAC tool is not just inefficient in terms of time, but it also usually results in deformation or damage to the clutch. A damaged or incorrectly-fitted clutch does not disengage properly, and may then judder when driving," says Bert Lundmark, Product Developer at Kamasa Tools.
The K 10635 has a long list of compatible vehicles, including VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Vauxhall (Opel) and Renault.
The tool kit comes with a complete user manual in English.
